757 Intensive Wood Manufacturing H

Gr 10 -12 | |3.5 Class Credits | Semester-Long| 6x per Cycle

PREREQUISITE: Students must have successfully completed 754 Wood Manufacturing and obtained instructor or department head approval.

This course is offered for the advanced student in learning lifelong skills in the area of fine woodworking. This course is designed to enable students who have completed Wood Manufacturing an opportunity to expand and further develop their skills .The students will have a variety of areas of study to select from including cabinet making, carpentry and other advanced areas. During this course students will continue to build on their knowledge in planning a project, selection and use of materials including tools and machines to produce a finished product.  Emphasis will be on safety and quality of workmanship.
