Students are required to take and pass four courses in Fitness and Health before graduation.
Fitness and Health courses should be taken one per year, for each of the 9th, 10th 11th and 12th grade years. Each course should only be taken once.
All ninth graders are required to take Introduction to Fitness 9. This course includes a mandatory orientation and certification in the Fitness Center.
Health Issues 10 is required during sophomore year and is a semester-long course.
Some Fitness & Health Elective courses will be offered during the 7:30 period time block for 11th and 12th graders.
With the exception of Health Issues 10, all Fitness and Health courses meet 5x per cycle for one quarter OR 3x per cycle for one semester (AM only).
