About me

My name is Rosemary Pinheiro Healea. I have taught Spanish for over 15 years and was previously a School Counselor for 3 years. My family is originally from the Azores Islands off the coast of Portugal. As a first-generation American, my first language was Portuguese. My love of languages led me to a student exchange program at the University of Puerto Rico as well as language programs in Mexico and Spain. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with my husband and two children.
