Dismissal

Please be sure to discuss the dismissal plans with your child each morning. It is very important that your child knows how he/she is getting home each day.

We use PickUp Patrol to manage our student dismissal process. PickUp Patrol is an easy-to-use app that automates the dismissal process for Bates. Parents submit plan changes through the convenient app, eliminating the need for schools to track notes, emails and phone calls.

Car Line

• Car line students will go to the gym at 3:00 where they will be organized by faculty and brought out to the car line as their car approaches the car loop.

Walkers

• Walker pick-up is out the back door by the stairs. It can get crowded with multiple classes exiting, so adults are asked to gather away from the door at the bottom of the stairs, along the railing or by the stone wall so the students can exit and make it down the stairs safely. Your child must wait and give us a high-five when they see you, and we need (and love) eye contact and a wave from you. ☺ Second graders must be dismissed to an adult or another teacher. Sorry – no older sibling pick-ups.

Bus

• Bus students will go to the gym where they will be put on the bus.

WCCC

• WCCC students will go to the cafeteria.

Any student not picked up by 3:15 will be on the bench in the main lobby to await pick-up.
