The Wellesley Engineering Laboratory (We-Lab) is a place for hands-on learning for all students at Wellesley College in the context of engineering studies. 

Just as an effective engineer requires outstanding communication skills, a liberal arts major can be far more influential in their discipline if they understand the technical aspects of worldwide challenges such as energy, hunger, and medicine. The We-Lab gives all students at the college the opportunity to develop engineering habits of mind and to understand the role technology has to play in improving our world. The We-Lab emphasizes engineering as a humanitarian endeavor, addressing needs of under-served populations internationally and locally.
