Sinmiloluwa Akande '28 (Spring 2025 - Present)
Sinmiloluwa is enthusiastic about working with zebra finches to understand more about the learning and memory process and the cognitive mechanism behind animal behavior. In her pastime, she enjoys acapella singing and watching animes.
Kayla Quinlan '27 (Fall 2024 - Present) Neuroscience Major
Kayla is interested in the neural mechanisms surrounding learning, specifically, the role of neurogenesis. Outside of the lab, she enjoys crocheting, binging TV shows, and hanging out with her cat.
EmmaChaya Lipton-Praver ‘27 (Spring 2024-present) Neuroscience major
EmmaChaya is interested in understanding animal behavior and learning processes. Outside of the lab, EmmaChaya enjoys reading, playing frisbee, drumming, and spending time outside.
Tantzie Zamani '27 (Spring 2024- present) Neuroscience major
Tantzie is interested in understanding the neuronal mechanisms of auditory perception and learning specifically in female zebra finches. Outside of lab, she likes to spend her time horseback riding, hiking, and reading.
Jude Mohammad '26 (Spring 2024 - present)
Jude is interested in studying learning and memory and how zebra finches can be used as a model for auditory processing. Outside of the lab, she enjoys rowing, reading and drawing.
Adharsha Ramesh '26 (Spring 2023 - present) Neuroscience major
Adharsha is interested in exploring the neuronal circuitry involved in song learning and memory in zebra finches. Specifically, she has been investigating the mechanisms underlying second-tutor song learning. Outside of the lab, she is a member of the Wellesley College choir, and she enjoys running and hiking.
