All events are 18 holes except for Twilight League matches and the Ironman tournament, which are 9 holes.
Weekly, May through July, on weekdays.
Participants: Nehoiden Men’s Group members, with current GHIN handicap. Two-man teams, signup deadline April 21. (Teams and the schedule will be determined before the season starts in 2025.)
Timing: tee times arranged by teams.
Format: Match play (with handicaps), 9 holes, white tees. Play the ball up. Round robin for the first part of the season, followed by playoffs. In a match on each hole there are 3 points available: one for the best net score of the two low handicappers, one for the best net score of the two high handicappers, and one for the best net score on each team. Each week’s total points for a team accumulate to determine their place in the ongoing round robin.
Handicap note: For matches, use your 9 hole GHIN course handicap for Nehoiden white tees in effect on the day of your match. This can be found at GHIN.com on your computer or on your smartphone with the GHIN mobile app ("GHIN mobile"). Note that your GHIN course handicap depends on both the course and the tees, and is not the same as your GHIN handicap index (which by design is course-independent). Post your score to GHIN immediately after each match.
Cash prizes
Directors: Frank Scafati and Vince Codispoti
Sunday May 4, Shotgun start on holes 6, 7, 8, 9, 1 at 7:20 a.m.

The golfer whose ball is selected does not hit the next shot. Continue in this fashion until the ball is holed. Play the ball up. No gimmes: play the ball into the hole.
Depending on the number of participants, some teams may end up with 2 or 3 members. (1 person teams are not allowed.) If a team just has 2 or 3 members, then that team gets one extra drive and shot each time, rotating among members. Exception: when the selected ball is on the green, every team regardless of size gets four putts, rotating among members if there are less than 4 on a team. (Rotate the order of putting so that no player putts twice in a row from the same spot.).
Tees: Play white tees then blue tees. Players at least 70 years old with a handicap index 20 or higher may use green tees then white tees.
Cookout follows at the golf house.
