Hi, my name is Nicky. I am a class of '27 and I double major in Economics and Data Science.

I joined the Tetel Lab as a summer research student in 2025, where I focused on exploring lifestyle variables’ associations the vaginal mycobiome, namely the fungal community that inhabits the female reproductive tract. I enjoy analyzing a variety of data through building appropriate statistical models, which allowed me to uncover significant relationships between fungal species abundance and lifestyle factors such as sexual activity, medication, and athletic activity.

Outside of research, I enjoy dancing, playing tennis, thrifting, and trying out all kinds of coffee and matcha.
