Hey there, I'm Alex! Thank you for your interest in working with me. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, and I operate my practice, Well Bee Counseling, from my home in Georgia where I serve clients online who live in Washington and Louisiana. Client's that have worked with me often sought therapy because they were struggling to sleep, consumed with worry, struggling in relationships (personal and professional) and were fed up with trying to manage their struggles on their own. Additionally, they often have painful events from early in life that effect them deeply. They can be new to therapy or experienced.

I am trained to treat clinical symptoms of early-life trauma, trauma in adulthood, anxiety, OCD, and substance use disorders. I aim to provide a comfortable, thought-provoking space to explore these experiences, and to provide specific strategies to help each client heal. Lastly, I offer clients the chance to choose from different therapy modalities/styles that may suit their learning style or personal preference. My goal is to always identify the best treatment option for what you have come to therapy to work on.

I have known many clients with these struggles and feel confident in the methods I use to help give you relief. I have specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a short-term and highly-effective form of PTSD treatment. I also have training in Exposure Therapy, inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other forms of CBT to treat a range of anxiety disorders.
