King Soopers Community Rewards Program
Give back to our school just by shopping for groceries and gas! Mountain View Elementary has partnered with King Soopers Community Rewards Program to help raise money for our school. King Soopers has recently restructured their program and it is easier than ever to participate!
Don’t forget - your friends and family can join in on this program too!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
1. Register for a King Soopers Rewards Card and Create an Online Account
If you haven’t already, register for a King Soopers or City Market rewards card. Cards are available at the customer service desk at any King Soopers or City Market store. Once you have a rewards card, you can create an online account with your name, some basic information, and a valid email address.
For King Soopers Stores, create an online account here: http://www.kingsoopers.com
For City Market Stores, create an online account here: http://www.citymarket.com
Once you have a registered King Soopers or City Market rewards card account, it’s easy to link your account to Mountain View Elementary.
2. Link your King Soopers Account to Mountain View Elementary
Log into your King Soopers or City Market account. Under “My Account” go to “Community Rewards”. Then, search for Mountain View Elementary by name or by our our school code “RV655”. Once you select Mountain View Elementary, click “Enroll”.
Remember, proceeds can’t be donated to Mountain View Elementary unless you link your rewards card to our school. Each time you swipe your rewards card, or use the phone number that is associated with your rewards card, our school earns money!
Thank you for supporting our school!
Peak Singers
Peak Singers is our extracurricular choir at Mountain View Elementary School. We meet every Wednesday morning at 7:15 AM to rehearse and we have multiple concerts throughout the year. Due to Peak Singers' popularity, registration will open for fourth and fifth graders on Wednesday, August 23rd and close on August 30th. You will receive a registration link at 12:00 PM via email to register your child. Remember, we have limited spots- please sign up as soon as possible.
If your child is a third grader, I will let you know if we have any remaining spots open on August 31 and how to register. Thank you for your understanding.
Star 360 Assessment
Students will be taking our universal screening assessments, Star 360, in reading and math on 8/29 and 8/30. We use this data to guide our planning in regards to instruction and intervention.
How to Volunteer
To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we ask that all volunteers complete an application and background check that includes a search of the national criminal database, sex offender list, and terrorist watchlist. Once an account has been created and the application has been approved, you will be able to login and review volunteer opportunities at your selected schools. Volunteers must register and be approved prior to engaging in any volunteer activity. Once you are approved, an email will be sent to you notifying you of the approval and your user account information.
