We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support at our recent book fair. Thanks to your dedication, we earned $2,300 in profits. These funds will be used to purchase students' favorite and eagerly anticipated new titles. Also, a big thanks to all of our volunteers, we could not do this without your help! Your involvement is truly appreciated, and it makes a significant impact on our students' reading experiences.

With Warm Regards,

Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Carsrud

Gift Card Donations for our Amazing MV Staff!!

Hello Wonderful MV Families!  We would like to be able to recognize staff members throughout the school year with gift cards.  We will be using these gift cards as incentives or prizes for different activities throughout the year and we need you to partner with us to make it happen.  If you are able, please drop gift cards off at the front office .  Thank you for helping make this year great!

Even with a short week, Mrs. Thompson's class was able to do a mock trial to see if Mr. Wolf was guilty or not guilty in the story of the three little pigs. Jury deliberation lasted for two days and ended with a hung jury on one of his two convictions.

The Halloween party was also a highlight of the week for students.

Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date through the Infinite Campus app or website. Feedback Needed on 2025 - 2026 Student School Calendar

Each year our Calendar Committee reviews state requirements, gathers feedback on proposed calendar options, and recommends a school calendar option to the Board of Education for consideration of approval. Please complete a brief survey to help our Calendar Committee determine what is best for our students for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Safe Schools Month

October is Safe Schools Month. In recognition of this designation, we look to share different aspects of our safety program with you:

Safe Schools Month: Safe2Tell Anonymous Reporting

Safe2Tell provides students, parents, and community members a safe and anonymous way to report information about any issues that concern their safety or the safety of others. There are three ways to make a report: 1) Call 1-877-542-7233; 2) Report online via Safe2Tell; and 3) Place a report through the Safe2Tell App (Google Play | App Store). In addition to anonymous reporting through Safe2Tell, students and families are always encouraged to address any concerns with a teacher or staff member. LEARN MORE

King Soopers Rewards for MV

King Soopers Community Rewards Program

Give back to our school just by shopping for groceries and gas! Mountain View Elementary has partnered with King Soopers Community Rewards Program to help raise money for our school. King Soopers has recently restructured their program and it is easier than ever to participate!

Don’t forget - your friends and family can join in on this program too!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

1. Register for a King Soopers Rewards Card and Create an Online Account

If you haven’t already, register for a King Soopers or City Market rewards card. Cards are available at the customer service desk at any King Soopers or City Market store. Once you have a rewards card, can create an online account with your name, some basic information, and a valid email address.

Once you have a registered King Soopers or City Market rewards card account, it’s easy to link your account to Mountain View Elementary.

2. Link your King Soopers Account to Mountain View Elementary

Log into your King Soopers or City Market account. Under “My Account” go to “Community Rewards”. Then, search for Mountain View Elementary by name or by our our school code “RV655”. Once you select Mountain View Elementary, click “Enroll”.

Remember, proceeds can’t be donated to Mountain View Elementary unless you link your rewards card to our school. Each time you swipe your rewards card, or use the phone number that is associated with your rewards card, our school earns money!

Thank you for supporting our school!

How to Volunteer

To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we ask that all volunteers complete an application and background check that includes a search of the national criminal database, sex offender list, and terrorist watchlist. Once an account has been created and the application has been approved, you will be able to login and review volunteer opportunities at your selected schools. Volunteers must register and be approved prior to engaging in any volunteer activity. Once you are approved, an email will be sent to you notifying you of the approval and your user account information.
