The Metropole Coffee & Bakery was started in 2020 by Lynnette and Abigail Buller, a mother and daughter duo. Their vision to bring an upscale, sit-down coffee shop came to fruition just as the Covid pandemic was sweeping the nation. After a year long remodel, the bakery was able to open its doors in the historic downtown location.

Excited to follow his life long dream, Sterling Blackwell purchased the coffee shop in September 2022. Not wanting to lose the historical impact the name carries, the coffee shop's name was changed to The Metropole Cafe. 

After an amazing year of building the brand and establishing it's location in Weiser, the business was again sold, but this time to Dude's Kitchen of Idaho, where the owners, Easton and Amanda, wanted to build their life long dream of an established food and baked goods store. Today, the restaurant is open and customers will find it has a new, up-town funk feel to it.
