Our Philosophy

• At Leman, we believe that participation in athletics and extracurricular activities helps students build meaningful relationships, develop confidence, and access opportunities that support their overall success.

• We believe every student benefits from being involved in school activities. Participation fosters a sense of belonging, strengthens school and community connections, promotes leadership and character, and contributes to long-term personal growth and self-esteem.

• We are committed to supporting the 3-2-1 philosophy: 3 Trusted Adults, 2 Positive Peer Relationships, 1 Extracurricular Activity.

• By participating in athletics or clubs, students build the connections and experiences that help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Interscholastic Athletics

Leman's interscholastic athletic programs provide students with the opportunity to compete against other schools in organized competition. Student-athletes develop sport-specific skills while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, perseverance, and responsibility.

Sports offerings include: Flag Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Cheer, Track & Field

Athletic Clubs & Intramural Sports

Intramural sports and athletic clubs provide students with opportunities to stay active, have fun, and develop skills in a more inclusive recreational environment. These programs emphasize participation, fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment. Offerings may include: Volleyball, Basketball, Futsal, Soccer, Multi-Sport, Badminton

Competitive Clubs

Leman also offers competitive clubs that participate in competitions with other schools, such as Scholastic Bowl. These programs provide students with opportunities to strengthen academic and leadership skills while representing Leman in organized events. Additional competitive clubs may be offered based on student interest and sponsor availability.

Student Clubs

Leman offers a variety of student clubs designed to help students explore interests, develop new skills, and connect with peers in a welcoming environment. Club offerings vary each year based on student interest and staff sponsorship. Examples include: Art Club, Book Club, Craft Club, Board Game Club, Gaming Club, Service Clubs, STEM Clubs, and many more!
