What is WISE?

We are pleased to announce the launch of WISE (Weehawken Intervention Support), a new program designed to offer short-term, targeted academic assistance to students.

WISE will begin in December. If your student could benefit from extra support to gain confidence and proficiency in specific difficult skills, we encourage you to consider enrollment.

You have the flexibility to choose the schedule that works best for your child: one or two sessions per week. We believe this wrap-around service will be a valuable resource for our students.

In 2025-26, WISE will be open to all students in Grades K-3. 

The K-3 program will begin on December 2, 2025 and end on May 7, 2026 and will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

¿Qué es WISE?

Nos complace anunciar el lanzamiento de WISE (Weehawken Intervention Support), un nuevo programa diseñado para ofrecer asistencia académica específica y a corto plazo a los estudiantes.

El programa WISE comenzará en diciembre. Si su estudiante podría beneficiarse de apoyo adicional para ganar confianza y dominio en destrezas específicas que actualmente le resultan difíciles, le animamos a considerar su inscripción.

Tiene la flexibilidad de elegir el horario que mejor se adapte a su hijo: una o dos sesiones por semana. Creemos que este servicio de apoyo integral será un recurso valioso para nuestros estudiantes.

En 2025-26, WISE estará abierto a todos los estudiantes de los grados K-3.

El programa P-3 comenzará el 2 de diciembre de 2025 y finalizará el 7 de mayo de 2026 y se desarrollará los martes y jueves.

Other important WISE Details:

• There is no bus transportation for this program so you must drop off or pick up your child promptly. 

• The morning session begins at 7:30am. Thank you in advance for picking up your child in a timely manner. 

• Webster School students should use the Palisade Ave Door for drop-offs and the Angelique Door for pick-ups. 

• Roosevelt School should use the main door for both pick-ups and drop-offs. 

• If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to Ms. Amato at famato@weehawken.k12.nj.us.
