What is WISE?

We are excited to offer you an amazing opportunity called WISE. This program, which stands for the Weehawken Intervention Supports and Enrichment, will begin in October. If you feel your student needs short-term extra help or enrichment then you may want to consider sending your child to the WISE program. You can send your child once or twice per week, it’s up to you! We hope this wrap-around service will help your child gain confidence in particular skills that might be difficult and/or excel in other areas. 

In 2024-25, WISE will be open to all students in Grades K-3. 

The program will begin on October 21, 2024 and end on May 15, 2024.

¿Qué es WISE?

Nos complace ofrecerle una oportunidad increíble llamada WISE. Este programa, que significa Weehawken Intervention Supports and Enrichment, comenzará en octubre. Si cree que su estudiante necesita ayuda o enriquecimiento adicional a corto plazo, puede considerar enviarlo al programa WISE. Puedes enviar a tu hijo una o dos veces por semana, ¡tú decides! Esperamos que este servicio integral ayude a su hijo a ganar confianza en habilidades particulares que podrían ser difíciles y/o sobresalir en otras áreas.

En 2024-25, WISE estará abierto a todos los estudiantes en los grados K-3.

El programa comenzará el 21 de octubre de 2024 y finalizará el 15 de mayo de 2024.

Other important WISE Details:

• There is no bus transportation for this program so you must drop off or pick up your child promptly. 

• The morning session begins at 7:30am and the afternoon session will end at 3:50pm. Thank you in advance for picking up your child in a timely manner. 

• Webster School students should use the Palisade Ave Door for drop-offs and the Angelique Door for pick-ups. 

• Roosevelt School should use the main door for both pick-ups and drop-offs. 

• If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to Ms. Amato at famato@weehawken.k12.nj.us.

• No hay transporte en autobús para este programa, por lo que debe dejar o recoger a su hijo lo antes posible.
