Diagnose, treat, and provide education regarding a variety of communication disorders
Member of CST and 504/RtI team
Collaborate with team members, administration, other related service providers, classroom teachers and parents/guardians
A related service provided to eligible students in the general education and special education populations
Services are offered in various settings and groupings catered to a student’s individual needs
Skilled interventions to improve overall communication skills in the following areas: language, articulation, fluency/rate, and voice

Voice: how we produce sounds using our breath and vocal folds
Fluency: the rhythm and rate of our speech
Language refers to the words we use and how we use them to communicate meaning
