Intro to Miss Zara's 1st Grade Class!
I am so excited to be your child's teacher for the 2026–2027 school year! This website will be your go-to resource for everything happening in our classroom at Daniel Webster School — from daily activities to important announcements. Thank you for trusting me with your child this year, and I can't wait to be part of this journey together!
About Miss Zara
I am a graduate of Rutgers University, and prior to teaching first grade, I spent time teaching 8th grade math. Outside of the classroom, I am an avid runner — this year, I'll be running the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C.! I also love reading, hiking, playing guitar, and ice cream.
I can't wait for a wonderful year of learning and growing together with your child!
