About the Teacher-Mr. Colletta

Hi, My name’s Mr. Colletta! This will be my second year teaching at TRS. This year I will be your third-grade co-teacher. I am excited to be working with all of you, meeting your families, and making this a great school year!

I manage a classroom environment, where students work on achieving their academic goals, and develop the personal and educational skills needed to succeed both inside the classroom, and in their future careers. 

About me

I have six years of teaching experience, and hold a Master’s in Education degree in both General and Special Education from Wagner College. 

Fun facts about me

I live in Staten Island, NY and am not from New Jersey. My favorite sport is hockey. Last year I was the JV hockey coach for the Hoboken/Weehawken hockey team. I played bass guitar in a band. I live a busy fun-filled life, spending time with my wife and three children who are six, three and four months old. I love to travel and consider the Jersey Shore one of my favorite summer destinations.
