My name is Jackie McKenna, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child's first-grade classroom this year. This will be my third year teaching and my second year in the wonderful Weehawken community.
A little about me: I grew up in Fort Lee as the youngest of four siblings. I graduated in May 2022 from Ramapo College with a degree in Elementary Education, and I am passionate about teaching and helping children grow. In addition to my love for education, I also enjoy playing and coaching sports, particularly soccer, softball, and basketball.
I am so excited to begin this school year and can't wait to meet your child. I am equally looking forward to meeting and working with each of you to ensure that that your child has a successful and enjoyable year in first grade.
