Class Rules


  1. Come to class on time.
  2. Don’t run in classroom.
  3. NO cursing; pushing or shoving in class; be mindful of other classmates.
  4. Wear appropriate safety gear: (aprons, gloves, and hair bands (if needed) when preparing food.
  5. All Students MUST adhere to School Dress Code.
  6. During Food Production all students will work together in Groups.
  7. There will be NO Throwing of ANY KIND of FOOD in CLASS!!!!!!!
  8. If you need to leave the classroom at any time please speak to the instructor.
  9. If you are unsure how to safely use a piece of equipment then ask the instructor.
  10. CLEAN AS YOU GO!!!!!!!
  11. All equipment must be cleaned and properly stored.
  12. All students shall participate in demos; cooking; and Cleaning up.
  13. Use the oven only when permission has been given.
  14. Any Homework or Class Projects need to be handed in on time.
  15. The Windows and Shades are NEW DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!!!!!!!
  16. Use of Cell Phones, headsets, earbuds, or air buds for any reason is prohibited.
  17. When walking behind anyone in class while holding equipment or ingredients say BEHIND loud enough without screaming it so the person can hear you.
  18. At the end of class Nobody is to line up at the door stay in your seats!!!!
  19. Students MUST adhere to school safety plan and its guidelines!


I, Mr. Mantineo(Teacher) along with the students of my Culinary and Pastry classes go over and perform our daily tasks adhering to the class rules that are set up to keep everyone's safety the foremost in the Foods Room at all times. The Students understand the dangers of the room, Knives, fire, etc…. and respect the rules of the classroom to keep themselves and each other safe and successful.
