Homework will be Monday-Thursday each week and will begin after Back to School Night. Your child's homework will be a review of skills/concepts taught in class throughout the week in language arts or math. It is important for your child to complete homework assignments independently. If your child is showing difficulty with a particular assignment, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can assist him/her further in the classroom.
Your child have a word ring consisting of sight words. New sight words will be added to the word ring weekly. Please practice the sight words with your child every night.
It is also extremely important for your child to read every night and to practice identifying the sight words on the word rings.
