An 18 year teacher veteran of Assumption High School, I am also a professional Chef with over 26 years plus experience in industry. My love for cooking is only a miniscule portion of the love I have for teaching.  It is my passion to pass on information with real life experiences to the students.  My motto in teaching is that practice drives theory and every student, regardless of academic pathway, has the potential to succeed and excel to the best of their ability.

In our technology program, whether it be manufacturing , robotics or culinary, the hands-on experience and knowledge learned is immeasurable. The pride of our Assumption technology department is our successful Specialist High Skills program where students not only have the opportunity to work in industry settings through a cooperative education component and take dual credit courses at St. Clair College but also receive industry certifications. The student not only gains exposure to potential career opportunities but is also extremely marketable upon graduation!
