Welcome to the Assumption College Catholic High School!
Mr. Laporte is the department head of Social Sciences and has been with Assumption for close to two years. He teaches Junior and Senior History as well as Junior French.
Mr. Laporte spent his first two years teaching at St. Joseph’s High School where he taught Immersion French and was the co-head coach of the Sr. Boys Hockey Team.
His credentials include an Honours degree in French and History as well as Honours Specialist degrees in French and History.
Mr. Laporte has found a home here at Assumption, and he looks forward to teaching our Purple Raiders and getting involved in our school community for many years to come.
Mr. Walker has been teaching at Assumption College Catholic High School for 16 years and has been teaching IB History and Theory Of Knowledge since its inception at ACCS.
He also coached football and baseball for Assumption and is qualified to teach Religion.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Classical Civilizations and received his Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor.
He is devout in principle to the holy name of the school and to the holistic welfare of all of the students at Assumption.
Mr. Sasso is entering his 18th year teaching with the WECDSB, and his fourth at Assumption College Catholic High School.
He teaches grade 9 MYP Geography, and Grade 11 Travel and Tourism.
Mr. Sasso is one of the moderators for the ACS Model UN.
His credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the University of Windsor in Biology and Earth Sciences and a Master of Science in Education from Niagara University in Lewiston, New York.
Mr. Tannous is in his second year of teaching and has just joined Assumption on a permanent basis. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a double major in French and Criminology. This is his second year as a teacher and he will be teaching in the French and Social Sciences department.
Mr. Tannous enjoys playing and coaching sports, especially volleyball. He is also a sneakerhead with a solid collection of Jordan’s and Yeezy’s.
Mrs. Naccarato has been a part of the ACS community since 2017. She has been teaching with the WECDSB since 2010. She has had the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects which included: Careers/Civics, World Religions, Social Justice, Social Sciences, French, and Catholic Studies.
Mrs. Naccarato has an Undergraduate Degree in Bachelor’s of Social Science(Political Science Division) and a minor in Religion from Carleton University. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Education at University of Windsor.
She was the moderator for both the Junior and Senior Boys/Girls Badminton Team and now is trying out Junior Girls Basketball.
Mrs. Naccarato enjoys reading a variety of fiction novels, going for walks and has a passion for fashion. She is a strong believer that one only fails in life when they stop trying.
The two most important things to her is her faith in God and her family.

Ms. DeBroe is an English and History teacher at Assumption High School, where she is also an assistant coach to both Senior Girls & Boys Basketball teams. In spring 2023 she had her first opportunity to teach at Assumption, and she's incredibly happy to be back full time.
Her qualifications include an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature, with a minor in History and Women & Gender Studies. After graduating from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Education in spring of 2020, she moved to England and started her teaching career. In her time overseas, she taught English at two different schools.
Ms. DeBroe is passionate about English; she loves to read and write creatively, and hopes to encourage her students to do the same.
Mrs. Maskoni is a new addition to Assumption, joining the English, History, and Social Science department this year. This marks her third year as part of the WECDSB.
She's enthusiastic about being a part of the Assumption family and is taking on the role of moderating the junior boys basketball team.
Mrs. Maskoni holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor, and has obtained additional qualifications in Teaching English Language Learners, Religion, Primary Division, and classroom management. She is also proficient in Arabic.
Beyond her professional life, Mrs. Maskoni enjoys quality time with her husband, family, and friends. Her interests include travel, cooking, reading, and music.
Mrs. Vanessa Clarke is in her second year at Assumption and teaches in the Math, ESL and Social ScienceM Departments. Graduating from the University of Windsor with Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Psychology and a minor in Science, Technology and Society, Mrs. Clarke was originally trained in Primary/Junior Division education at the University of Windsor but has additional qualifications in Math, Family Studies, Special Education and Teaching English Language Learners.
Mrs. Clarke has been teaching since 2007 in a variety of settings including Adult Education, a semester at St. Anne’s High School and in secondary schools in the UK from 2009-2021. In the UK, she taught Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Mathematics, Preparation for Working Life, and Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education. Having been a GCSE Mathematics Examiner and Team Leader for the past nine exam series and working for a global examination board, Mrs. Clarke has gained deeper understanding of the development of standardized exam questions, marking schemes and strategies for successfully writing exams.
Additionally, Mrs. Clarke is the moderator of the After School Weight Room Club and Eucharistic Minister at ACS for school masses. When she is not teaching at ACS she is enjoying spending time with her husband, three kids and family.
