Welcome to the Assumption College Catholic High School!
Mrs. Allsop has been teaching with the WECDSB since 1999 and started her career at St. Michael’s High School. She has spent the last 21 years teaching Health and Physical Education at Holy Names High School where she coached a variety of sports.
She is a graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Human Kinetics, Honours Movement Science as well as Bachelor of Education, junior/intermediate divisions.
Mrs Allsop enjoys running, staying active and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Bresolin has been teaching since 2006, and at Assumption since 2016 in the Health and Physical Education department. She is the SHSM lead for Health & Wellness at ACS. Along with teaching Physical Education she has additional qualifications to teach in Religious Studies, Science, Special Education, and ESL. Ms. Bresolin has coached volleyball and badminton.
Ms. Bresolin coordinates ACS teams for iCLimb, Girls in Motion, and FitSpirit initiatives. The iClimb for United Way gets students moving for a cause. The Girls in Motion conference held at the University of Windsor is a community based girl friendly program which offers opportunities to learn new skills while having fun. FitSpirit is a charitable organization based in Canada whose mission is to get teenage girls to be active for life.
Her credentials include an Honours degree in Human Kinetics, and a Masters Degree in Kinesiology specializing in Movement Science and Ergonomics. Ms. Bresolin has valuable experience outside the classroom as well. She worked at MAGNA Integram alongside engineering, to design ergonomically correct workstations.
