Welcome to the Assumption College Catholic High School!
Mr. Muscedere has a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After university, Mr. Muscedere worked 5 years for Magna International in Rochester Hills, Michigan. While there he worked as part of the Design Engineering and Assembly Plant Launch team on the original Production H2 Hummer released in 2003 and later on the 2007 Sebring at Sterling Heights Assembly Plant.
In 2007, Mr. Muscedere decided on a career path change that drew him to Assumption College School’s IB program. This is his 18th year teaching in the IB Diploma Programme at Assumption. Initially he taught Physics and Math but later, in 2011, was promoted to department head of Mathematics so that became his main teaching focus. Mr. Muscedere is fully trained in teaching all the IB Math classes and has taught Math Studies, Math SL, and Math HL, with his students consistently scoring above the world average in all areas.
Mr. Muscedere coaches soccer at Assumption, organizes the annual grade 8 math competition at the school and plans out the annual Detroit Tedx Field Trip. Outside of school he coaches a U10 Competitive Soccer Team, and manages winemaking operations at Muscedere Vineyards.
Mrs. Darocy has been teaching since 2003 with the WECDSB for over 20 years. She bleeds purple, being that all of her teaching has been at Assumption. She is also MYP trained.
She is a graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Engineering, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with Materials specialist.
She is also a graduate of the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor having earned her Bachelor of Education degree in the Intermediate/Senior division of mathematics and physics.
She is an avid hockey fan and loves her country music.
Mr. Pittl is a graduate from the University of Windsor and studied Chemistry and Mathematics.
This is his fourth year at Assumption and is excited to be teaching math this semester.
Mr. Pittl has experience coaching cross country, soccer and golf.
He was an executive member of both the Science Society and Chemistry club at the University of Windsor, head tutor of Students offering Support and the MVP of Windsor's championship Ontario Science Games team.
Ms. Falcone has been a teacher with the HCDSB for the past eight years where she taught Intermediate and Senior AP Mathematics and coached the softball, cross country and volleyball teams. She has recently moved to Windsor and is very excited to be a part of the Assumption team.
She is a graduate of McMaster University where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics with a minor in Geography. She is also a graduate of the University of Ottawa where she earned her Bachelor of Education.
Ms. Falcone loves to spend her free time hiking, running, and camping with her dog, Bruce. She also enjoys reading, Crossfit, and country music.
Ms. Ianni obtained her Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Windsor and also has a minor in Visual Arts.
She moved to the United Kingdom after graduating with her Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor and taught math full time for a semester before coming home.
This is her third year at Assumption and she is very excited to be a part of the Math department.
When she is not teaching, she is playing ALL sports with her two boys at home and has enjoyed coaching girls' soccer in the past.
Mr. Wasyluk has been at Assumption since 2019 where he teaches a selection of Science and Math courses.
His credentials include degrees from the University of Windsor in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Education, and is a trained MYP Science teacher.
He coaches a variety of sports at Assumption including the Boys Baseball, Sr. Boys Volleyball, and Girls Volleyball teams.
As a Windsor Lancer, he was a member of the Men’s Volleyball and Baseball varsity teams, and captured a championship with the University of Windsor's Ontario Science Games team.
Ms. Musa has been teaching with the WECDSB since 2008 and she is very happy to be back teaching in full time position at Assumption.
Her credentials include an Honours degree in Business Administrations majoring in finance and mathematics.
She is fluent in Serbian and Croatian and competent in Spanish.
She spent two years teaching mathematics at Specialized Business High School in Serbia applying her Canadian experience to the new environment.
She is a dedicated, enthusiastic educator, committed to the well being of her students, but especially concentrating on the enhancement of their numerical skills.
After coaching many various sport activities throughout our system, she is very proud of her 2022 Assumption High School tennis team that captured the WECSSAA championship.
Mrs. Vanessa Clarke is in her fourth year at Assumption and teaches in the Math, ESL and Social ScienceM Departments. Graduating from the University of Windsor with Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Psychology and a minor in Science, Technology and Society, Mrs. Clarke was originally trained in Primary/Junior Division education at the University of Windsor but has additional qualifications in Math, Family Studies, Special Education and Teaching English Language Learners.
Mrs. Clarke has been teaching since 2007 in a variety of settings including Adult Education, a semester at St. Anne’s High School and in secondary schools in the UK from 2009-2021. In the UK, she taught Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Mathematics, Preparation for Working Life, and Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education. Having been a GCSE Mathematics Examiner and Team Leader for the past nine exam series and working for a global examination board, Mrs. Clarke has gained deeper understanding of the development of standardized exam questions, marking schemes and strategies for successfully writing exams.
Additionally, Mrs. Clarke is the moderator of the After School Weight Room Club and Eucharistic Minister at ACS for school masses. When she is not teaching at ACS she is enjoying spending time with her husband, three kids and family.
