Campus Ministry is a welcoming and accepting Christ Centred environment where all people of faith and good will can grow and develop a better understanding of Christ. Firmly rooted in the Roman Catholic Traditions, Campus Ministry at ACS seeks to nurture and challenge students, staff and the wider community, in order to bring a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, through the Gospel Teachings, Campus Ministry nurtures Catholic Faith, Gospel Values, Prayer and Worship, Spirituality, Our Call to Serve, Compassion and Acceptance, Healing and Forgiveness, Grief and Bereavement and Social Justice.
Mrs. Presello a 1981 ACS Graduate, is the Campus Minister at Assumption College Catholic High School for over 20 years. Presello worked as a Pastoral/Youth Minister serving the Diocese of London for 14 years, prior to ACS. Mrs. Presello was recently named the first female Chaplain for the Windsor Police Service. Three generations of the Presello family have graduated from Assumption. Her father, a 1950 Grad, and children, Dr. Alexander 2010, Matthew 2012, and Michelle 2014.
Mrs. Presello has a Honours Degree in Psychology, minor in Child and Adolescent Development, Masters in Theology, Certificates in Pastoral Ministry and Youth Ministry, Certification in Grief and Bereavement, PTSD, Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention.
Mrs. Presello, specializes in Grief and Bereavement, Faith Development, and Conflict Resolution. Mrs. Presello’s responsibilities include: Daily prayer, Weekly Missions, Masses and Liturgies, Christmas Outreach, Student and Staff Support, Funeral Visitations and Prayer Services, Used Uniforms Sales, Liaison with our Priest Chaplain Fr Steven Huber CSB., and Community Involvement. Campus Ministry proudly supports local and global social justice initiatives throughout the year.
