PITCH is the startup competition at Web Summit Vancouver, showcasing some of the world’s most promising early-stage startups in a live, onstage pitching battle.
The competition is open to all ALPHA and BETA startups exhibiting at Web Summit Vancouver that have received less than €5 million in funding to date.

Competition format
The startups selected to participate will pitch in front of our distinguished judging panel and hundreds of attendees in the group rounds of PITCH, which will take place on our dedicated PITCH stage. Following the group stages, ten startups will advance to the semi-final on Centre Stage in a bid for one of three PITCH finalist spots.
Those three finalists will battle it out on Centre Stage for a chance to be crowned PITCH champion at Web Summit Vancouver 2025.

In your welcome email sent by the startup success team, you will find the link to apply to our startup activations.
Please note that being selected for our PITCH competition is not a guaranteed part of your startup package.
How and when will I know if I was selected for PITCH?

The PITCH team will be in touch two weeks from the event with an update on your application, letting you know if you have been selected or not.
