On this page you will find information on:
Your pitch deck is mandatory for your profile, as it shows attendees how serious you are about your company and allows people to quickly understand your business.
Please note: Your pitch deck will be visible to all Collision attendees.
You can find a link to your startup profile in your welcome email from your startup success manager, find out more here.
What is a pitch deck?
A pitch deck is a brief presentation of your business plan, often created using PowerPoint. This deck is something that you would usually use to pitch your business during meetings with potential investors, customers and partners.
**We highly recommend that all individuals upload a pitch deck, as it is the first thing that many of our investor, partner and media attendees seek when determining their interest in scheduling a meeting with a startup**
Who can view my pitch deck?
Your pitch deck will be visible to all Collision attendees. For this reason, we recommend you create two versions:
The first version is a deck that you would be happy to share on your website. It could contain your product overview, the problem(s) you’re solving and how, what makes you stand out in the crowd, your team, and a brief summary of your business. This version should be short and attention-grabbing, making viewers want to learn more about your company.
The second version should be shared exclusively with individuals who contact you directly and whom you want to share it with, including potential investors. This version should contain the same information as the first version along with more sensitive details, including your business model and financial information.
