Exhibiting
On this page you will find information on:
Collision is a busy three-day event. During this time, you will be assigned one exhibition day: Tuesday, June 18 Wednesday, June 19 or Thursday, June 20.
On your assigned day, you will have a booth and exhibition board provided on the event floor. Your startup success manager will send you your exhibition date on or before June 13.
Please note: Specific exhibition days cannot be requested. If you are joining as a partner startup, information regarding your exhibition day may vary.
Your exhibition booth will be ready when you arrive at the venue. The booth will have an ethernet cable, your company’s exhibition board, and two power sockets. Check out your ALPHA stand specifications below. You can access your booth from 7.30am on the morning of your assigned exhibition day. The venue will be open from 8.30am for all other attendees.
Your company exhibition board will be populated with the information you submitted on your startup profile. You can view your profile by accessing the link sent to you in the first email from your startup success manager.
Display screens at your booth
It is now possible to rent a 27 inch monitor for your booth at Collision. If you're interested, please contact your success manager, who will provide you with the payment link.
Alternatively, you can bring your own screen, provided it is a 27-inch screen or smaller. The maximum number of screens permitted on your booth is two, and they cannot impede on your neighbours booth.
Can I demo my product?
If your product requires demo space, you will need to submit a demo request. This form can be requested from your startup success manager at any stage before your profile completion deadline.
Demo requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and we will do our very best to accommodate, where possible. You will not be permitted to demo a large product without approval from our production team.
Anything our team deems a possible obstruction, eyesore or noise pollutant, or anything that could negatively impact attendee experience at the event, will not be permitted.
For your product demo to be considered, it must:
Be your product.
Fit on your booth (check our booth dimensions above).
Not negatively impact your neighbour or other attendees by blocking walkways, being too loud, or taking up extra space.
Some examples of a demo request that would be denied:
Pull up banners or other marketing materials. Your demo must be your product.
Animals. Only service dogs are permitted in the event venue.
Food. The distribution of food is against our health and safety guidelines.
Excessively large or bulky products, such as a car or free-standing robot. This will not fit at your booth.
If you are unsure whether your product fits the above description, please get in touch with your startup success manager.
What can I not bring?
We have provided some examples of prohibited items below. This is not a comprehensive list, so if you have any items that you are unsure about, please contact your startup success manager. We will decide on a case-by-case basis. If you arrive with unsuitable items, you will be asked to remove them from your booth.
Prohibited items and actions include (but are not limited to):
Customisation. We do not allow any board customisation, including large stickers and writing on the board.
Bringing your own printed board. We will provide you with a printed board on your exhibition day. You are not permitted to bring your own.
Pop up or pull up banners, and other large marketing items.
Stickers.
Balloons.
Furniture items.
Food and drink for distribution.
Flashing lights and fairy lights.
Confetti and tinsel.
Umbrellas.
Loud audio.
Anything that does not fit on your exhibition booth.
Anything our team deems a possible obstruction, eyesore or noise pollutant, or anything that could negatively impact attendee experience at the event, will not be permitted – and may be removed if present at your startup booth. Please raise any queries with your startup success manager.
Material
Collision is an environmentally conscious event. We promote a paperless and single-use plastic-free event, where possible.
Prohibited materials include, but are not limited to, leaflets, flyers, stickers and single-use plastic items. If you bring paper or single-use plastic items to distribute onsite, you will be instructed to remove them from the venue. Continued failure to comply will lead to your team’s access to the event being revoked and a potential fine.
Non-single use items that are permitted to be distributed onsite include branded USBs, pens, notepads, reusable water bottles, and shirts with your company name.
Please note: Startups are limited to one handheld-size box of promotional materials. If you have any queries regarding permitted items, please contact your startup success manager.
Waste
Booths must be left empty at the end of the day. Please do not leave rubbish in or around your booth. Recycling and waste bins will be distributed across the exhibition floor for you to dispose of anything you don’t need.
Please note: Collision is not responsible for the disposal of any items remaining at exhibition booths or in the surrounding areas. Any items left on startup booths will be considered litter, and the startup will incur the minimum litter fine of €5,000.
Accessibility requirements
Collision is committed to making our events accessible and welcoming for everyone. If you have any accessibility requirements, please fill out this form to make a request. Requests should be made as soon as you have secured your ticket to Collision. Alternatively, you can contact the Collision team at info@collisionconf.com. For more information check out the Collision Accessibility policy here.
Please note: We may be unable to grant some requests if they are made after May 17, 2024.
How can I stand out?
Your exhibition booth and printed exhibition board will be waiting for you on your assigned exhibition day. We encourage startups to get creative to capture attendees’ attention. There are lots of ways to stand out on the exhibition floor
Team: Consider wearing matching shirts that have your company logo and name.
Market: Think about your target market and whether you want to focus on building a brand there. Do you want to connect with all attendees, or focus on a particular type?
Check out more top tips here.
Is wifi available?
Collision will provide an official wifi network for all of your internet connectivity needs. The network will be available to all attendees throughout the venue, except where stated otherwise. Please review the following terms to ensure support for your devices:
Our wifi operates on the 5 GHz band.
This is meant for lightweight usage, including email, browsing and instant messages.
There may be delays during peak times due to network congestion.
Security considerations
Hotspots or rogue networks of any kind violate our terms and conditions and are completely prohibited.
Devices connected to our networks cannot reach each other – only the internet.
Internet-enabled network cables
Your exhibition booth will include an ethernet network cable with internet connectivity. Please review the following terms to ensure support for your devices:
Bandwidth
Bandwidth is shared with other wired points. During peak times, there may be delays due to network congestion.
This cable will be allocated a maximum speed of 7 Mbps by default.
Device support
You will be presented with a CAT5e cable with an RJ45 connector.
If you require mobile devices, connect them to our event wifi or bring an RJ45 network adapter to use with your ethernet cable.
Security considerations
Use of any and all network hardware such as routers, switches, access points and mifi devices are strictly prohibited and will be terminated.
Hotspots or rogue networks of any kind are against our terms and conditions and completely prohibited.
Devices connected to our networks cannot reach each other – only the internet.
Please note: Operating any wifi network at our event without explicit permission is against our terms and conditions and is strictly forbidden.
We actively monitor the use of unauthorised devices and will terminate them if found. Unauthorised devices include (but are not limited to) wifi routers and personal hotspots via your mobile phone or a wifi device.
Radio space in the venue should be shared by everyone. Rogue networks directly interfere with that goal, disrupting everyone’s experience. We carefully plan and design our networks to support the best experience possible for everyone.
Can I record my exhibition day?
Filming at the event is only permitted when you have received written consent from our team and you have provided a full itinerary. Before requesting consent to record at Collision, please read through the official camera guidelines here.
