To move this project beyond the classroom, I am publishing my work on the Schroeder currier, our school’s news site to spreding awareness. My primary goal is to reach a larg audience of at least 100 people by bridging the gap between student readers and the professional farming community. To achieve this, I am sharing my article in local Facebook farming groups to engage directly with the people who live and breathe this industry every day. By highlighting the expert work of Eric Datthyn Tuttle and comparing it to the global challenges shown on Diddly Squat Farm, I am calling on my community to take the following actions:
Audit Your Grocery Cart: Pay close attention to where your food is grown and prioritize local sources.
Support "New Farming": Advocate for modern, sustainable methods like Integrated Pest Management (IPM) that protect our environment.
