About me

Here is just a little information about me... I have been teaching Spanish in Webster since 2002; prior to that I taught Special Education in Red Creek, NY. I grew up in West Irondequoit and attended SUNY Geneseo where I earned my Bachelor's in Special Education with certification in Elementary ed and Spanish as well. During that time I had the opportunity to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain, just northwest of Madrid. I earned my Master's degree from SUNY Oswego, and within that program, I was able to do some course work in Barcelona.

When I'm not in school, my children Jackson (12) and Genevieve (9) keep me quite busy, but in a wonderful way! They are our pride and joy and continue to amaze us everyday. We have a golden-doodle, Wally, who keeps us busy too! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, scrap-booking, traveling, cooking, reading and shopping.

I've had the privilege and pleasure of traveling to 3 Spanish speaking countries thus far, and hope to visit more one day! This year I also had the opportunity to travel to Ireland and England, which was amazing.

I'm excited to meet you and I look forward to a great year!
