Math


I can count on from any given number to 120.

I can write numbers 0-120.

I can add and subtract fluently within 10.

I can identify how many 10s are in a number.

I can represent a 2-digit number using 10s and 1s.

I can compare 2-digit numbers.

I can add and subtract within 20 using a variety of strategies.

I can tell and write time to the hour and half hour on both digital and analog clocks. 

Reading 


I can orally blend single syllable words.

I can orally segment single syllable words.

I can fluently read grade level tricky words.

I can use conventional spelling for words with common spelling patterns.

I can write a sentence using correct capitalization, spacing, and end punctuation.

I can describe characters, settings, and major events in a story.

I can ask and answer questions about key details in a  text.

I can read grade level text with fluency.

Science/Social 


I can describe how groups of people are alike and different.

I can describe symbols, songs, and traditions that identify our state and country.


I can show understanding of patterns of the sun, moon, and stars.

I can describe how animals use their external parts to help them survive.

Sonday System 1 offers structured, systematic, multisensory reading intervention for readers at the beginning stages of reading through the end of the 2nd-grade reading level. Each lesson plan uses proven Orton-Gillingham methods to provide effective intervention in small-group settings.

Mystery Science 

We create content that excites children about the wow in the world around them. We craft explanations around real kid questions. We view ourselves as storytellers: we invest in motivating our explanations and bringing them to life with wow visuals. We see kids as active explorers who learn not by listening and consuming, but by discussing, by building and observing hands-on models, and by writing about what they learn.
