Academics for 2nd Grade:

Math in 2nd grade is focused around the Math Common Core Standards through our curriculum: Math Expressions.

UNIT 3 – LENGTH AND SHAPES

UNIT 4 – SUBTRACT 2-DIGIT NUMBERS

UNIT 5 – TIME/GRAPHS/WORD PROBLEMS

UNIT 6 – 3-DIGIT ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION

UNIT 7 – ARRAYS, EQUAL SHARES, LENGTHS

Reading is centered around our new Amplify CKLA Curriculum.  It contains a skills and knowledge section.  

It is a comprehensive program (Preschool-Grade 5) for teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking while also building students' vocabulary and Knowledge across essential domains in literature, world and American history and the sciences.

Phonics - Sonday System 

Sonday System is a comprehensive line of materials designed to help educator provide multisensory reading instruction to stduents from pre-K through 8th grade reading levels.
