Yr 6 Taster Lesson Visit: An opportunity for students to get an interactive experience of Life at SIS through a 2-day visit where they will have the opportunity to experience taster lessons in subjects such as Science, Maths, Global Thinking, Individuals and Societies, English & Creative Arts and a welcome to the Bauhinia Family.

All new Year 7 students attending South Island School will be given the opportunity to visit the school site again.

During the day students will be placed in their houses and given the opportunity to tour the school and meet other students in their tutor group. We request that the students wear their PE kit as they will all take part in a range of activities at some point during the day. 

List of items required on the day:

• Bitesize snacks (students will have two snack breaks during their visit)

• Primary School PE kit and trainers

• Water bottle (with straw)

• Pencil case with ruler, pencil, and colouring pencils/markers
