Hello!  My name is Matt. I am from Phoenix, Arizona, in the U.S.A. This is my second year teaching in Thailand. 

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Northern Arizona University.  I have experience teaching English in Nanyue, China, Hanoi, Vietnam. I taught a wide range of students, from small children to adults. In my younger days, I worked in business management and training.

I like my class to be enjoyable and productive. I work to prepare students for national testing, entrance exams, and practical use of English. I enjoy students being creative, learning, and growing.

My hobbies include hiking, yoga, reading, and tai chi.

I am excited about the opportunity to teach at a historic institution like Dara Academy and look forward to a great year with the students.
