Hello! My name is Iyesha Key. I am from the United States. This will be my second year teaching at Dara Academy. I will be teaching Matayom 2.

Prior to moving to Chiang Mai, I taught English in South Korea for over three years. I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hampton University; and my master’s degree in Global Affairs from George Mason University.

My goal as a teacher is to teach appropriate and relevant English language skills that can be used in the students’ daily lives. I will use different learning styles such as: auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. This will help to create an equal learning environment for all levels of students.

In my classroom, I want the students to feel safe, motivated, and to have fun. That way the students are inspired to learn the English language.  

I am really looking forward to meeting the students and having a great school year!
