Hello, my name is Ewan. I'm from the U.K.

Following a degree in Applied Statistics and Management Science at the University of Plymouth, I spent almost twenty years in a career as a British civil servant. I worked in several U.K. government departments including Education, the Foreign Office, and the UK Space Agency.

This is my second year teaching at Dara Academy and it's good to be back. My aim for this year is to give my students a safe classroom where everybody feels happy taking part, gets to practice, and improves their English. It's okay to make mistakes. It's how we learn and get better. 

In my spare time you will find me out running or playing other sports, watching football, or reading a book. I also love to travel and I want to learn all about Thai culture whilst I'm here. I'm sure the students will be teaching me again too. It will be a great year!
