Hello! My name is Abby McCain and this is my third year teaching at Dara Academy. I will be teaching M6 SEEK and I look forward to meeting all my students. 

I am originally from the United States, but I have been studying in Thailand for the past seven years. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai and continued with my graduate studies in Eukaryotic Microbiology.

My goal in the classroom is to create an environment where my student’s feel comfortable and enthusiastic in advancing their English abilities. I look forward to getting to know all my students and supporting them individually and as a group in developing their English skills. I like to use different resources to keep the students stimulated and engaged in their lessons.

I am anticipating a great year at Dara Academy!
