My name is Simran Singh, I was born and raised in the captivating city of Edinburgh, Scotland—a city I still proudly call home. I graduated from Edinburgh University with a BEng Hons degree in Mechatronics Engineering.

This will be my first year teaching at Dara Academy, and I’m excited to start teaching Mathayom 5 SEEK.

My teaching experience includes serving as a homeroom teacher for the Summer Programme at Lanna International School, coordinating a coding club for students of all ages, and tutoring coding and physics online.

These experiences have allowed me to connect with students of various backgrounds, ability and interests. I take a personable and interactive approach to teaching, fostering an open and supportive classroom environment where we can work through challenges together, build confidence, spark curiosity, and develop key practical skills which will aid them in their futures wherever life may lead them.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking, trying new recipes, exploring different cuisines, and running to keep off the inevitable calories.
