Hello! My name is Sean Wong and this is my first year teaching at Dara Academy. I will be teaching M4 SEEK and I’m excited to meet my students this year.

I am originally from the British Virgin Islands, but I’ve lived and studied in the North of England for 4 years. I received both a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Linguistics and a Masters in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from Lancaster University.

My goal in the classroom is to allow students to practice their productive skills through interesting discussions about important issues covered in class as well as developing creativity and grammatical accuracy in their writing. I also hope to improve their receptive skills through a variety of authentic English resources that keep them both engaged and thinking critically.

I’m very happy to be here in Thailand and especially excited to start this new adventure at Dara!
