Hello! 

My name is Alexander Pointing and this is my first year teaching at Dara Academy. I grew up on a small island south of the English coast called the Isle of Wight, but spent my early years of adulthood studying Global Politics and International Relations at Kingston University. This experience allowed me to study abroad at Yonsei University in Korea, where I discovered a deeper understanding and respect for Asian culture.

I am honored to be teaching at Dara Academy as I have a deep interest in pedagogy and the methodology behind learning and teaching. Outside of school, my hobbies include various sports such as cycling, football and skateboarding, alongside musical endeavors such as playing Guitar and Bass. I am very excited for my first year at Dara Academy and hope to learn a deeper understanding of Thai culture whilst sharing my own.
