Hello, my name is Annabel, and I'm from the UK. I studied Psychology with Criminology at the University of Sussex, where I developed a keen interest in developmental and educational topics for young learners.

Before moving to Chiang Mai, I lived in Brighton, a vibrant seaside town in the south of England. Here, I worked in recruitment within the satellite industry.

I am incredibly excited to be teaching Prathom 4 and 5 at Dara Academy. My goal is to create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels comfortable, confident, and happy to practice their English. I believe learning a language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar; it's also a chance to develop important interpersonal skills and the confidence to express yourself!

In my free time, I enjoy different activities such as pilates, running, and (most recently) Muay Thai. I'm excited to continue exploring Thai culture, and I'm sure I'll learn just as much from the students as they learn from me.
