We use Recharge for subscriptions, will the orders come through to Shopify directly or interact with Recharge?
Orders are sent directly to your Shopify (or other ecommerce platform) from Taly. We do not interact with Recharge. Taly manages the subscription logic and sends recurring orders to your platform for fulfillment.
We have subscription-only SKUs, “subscribe and save” SKUs, and custom bundle SKUs, can we list all of them on Taly? Are there different fees?
Yes, you can list any of these SKU types on Taly. All subscription types are treated equally, there are no separate rates or charges based on plan type. You decide which products appear on your Taly storefront.
My products are showing as out of stock even though I have inventory available.
This may be due to a sync setting misalignment between your ecommerce platform and Taly. Try switching off the stock sync feature in the “Integrations” section of the Vendor App. If the issue continues, contact our team! We’ll be happy to help.
How are payments made? What are the fees?
We use Stripe to process all payments. Taly collects payment from users and deducts a 15% commission. The remaining amount is paid to your Stripe account on the Friday following 10 days after the order is placed.
(Note: We do not support alternative payout methods at this time.)
How does each transaction work?
A customer places an order on Taly.
The payment is processed through our Stripe account.
Taly deducts a 15% fee.
The remainder is paid out to your Stripe account on the Friday following 10 days after payment.
What is the “Direct Debit” section in Stripe?
This is not currently used by Taly. Stripe includes a variety of features, and some may not apply to our integration. We’re actively refining our integration, so unused sections may be removed in future updates.
When are vendor payouts issued?
Payouts are made on the Friday following 10 days after each successful customer payment.
How much will I receive from each order?
Taly takes a 15% commission. So, for a £100 order, you would receive £85, minus any applicable Stripe processing fees. This applies to all order types, including subscriptions.
How does the invoicing process work?
A customer places an order on Taly.
The same order is sent to your Shopify store.
An email confirmation is sent to both the vendor and the customer.
I already have a Stripe account, but your system asks me to create a new one. Why?
If you're using an admin or team Stripe account, the system may not recognize your login and prompt you to create a new one.
To connect an existing Stripe account, you’ll need the email and login credentials for the Stripe account owner, this may differ from the email you used to register with Taly.
If you don’t have access to the existing account, you can create a new one. Just note that you may need your business or finance team to provide some details during setup.
Both options are fully supported.
Do I need to manually process orders in Shopify?
No. Orders are automatically pushed to your Shopify account. No manual action is required unless you've configured it differently.
