The Rowland Shores SACP Memorial Scholarship Program aims to support, encourage, and recognize talented individuals within SACP or affiliated with SACP to pursue higher education at University/College/Trade/Vocational Schools. The scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and financial need
This is a one-time award. Applicants who have applied and not previously been awarded a Rowland Shores SACP Memorial Scholarship may re-apply. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Dependent of SACP Member
Dependent child of an SACP member at time of disbursement.
A graduating high school senior entering college or a vocational school, re-entry college students and continuing college students pursuing a bachelors or higher degree.
A maximum of one scholarship may be awarded to an individual.
Currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited institution or full time at an accredited trade/vocational school
SACP Member
A member of SACP at time of disbursement.
A member pursuing a credential or higher degree.
Currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a full-time or part-time graduate or credential program at an accredited college or university.
APPLICATION PROCESS:

Completed online application form.
Unofficial academic transcripts.
Two letters of recommendation (emailed to SACPVicePresident@gmail.com) from persons who are familiar with the applicant's character and abilities. Please have the recommender identify their place of employment, state the number of years they have known the applicant, and address the applicant's characteristics such as responsibility, reliability and integrity.
Social involvement (school, community, civic, etc.) as evidenced in applicant statement where the applicant will briefly state (in 250 words or less on this application form) why they should be considered for a SACP Scholarship.
