Hello! We're Friends of Crossley Street Primary School PTA.
We're the charity and fundraising group that supports Crossley Street Primary School. Throughout the year, we organise events, raise thousands and help provide extra resources, experiences and opportunities for all the children in our school community.
As some of our current volunteers move on, and we welcome new starters, we're looking for a new Treasurer to join our team.
Could this be you?
If you're organised, reliable and comfortable managing finances, we'd love to hear from you. You don't need to be an accountant – we'll provide support and a handover to help you get started.
What would you do?
As Treasurer, you would:
Keep records of PTA income and expenditure
Manage payments and online banking
Prepare simple annual accounts
Organise cash floats and bank event proceeds
Report on fundraising income and available funds at PTA meetings
Work with the school to arrange payments for agreed projects
Complete the annual Charity Commission return
Help keep PTA bank account records and signatories up to date

By volunteering as Treasurer, you'll play a key role in helping us continue to fund valuable resources, experiences and opportunities for the children at Crossley Street Primary School. It's a great way to make new friends, support the school community and make a real difference.
