Noah is an Associate Professional Counselor having completed his Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University. Noah has obtained his National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential and is working towards obtaining his LAPC license and supervision hours so that he can eventually become a fully licensed counselor. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, and the Licensed Professional Counselor's Association of Georgia. Noah has completed a year long practicum/internship at Columbus State University's on campus counseling center, providing supervised therapy to college students from diverse cultural experiences, with various mental health related requests.
Noah is under the clinical supervision of Ellie Wood, MA, LPC, NCC, RPT-S, CPCS, CFMHE, CCCE (Ellie@wearebackontrack.com) and can take Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.
Noah utilizes a multimodal approach of Person Centered Therapy, Existential Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness interventions to help clients on their personal mental health journey. This allows him to challenge his clients' way of thinking, and develop strategies to help them develop healthier lives and relationships. He hopes to help both children and adult clients make sense of their world and develop skills that help them to manage and make sense of what is going on in their lives.
Noah is a supporter of the Movember movement which raises funds for men's overall physical and mental health and wellbeing.
In his spare time Noah enjoys hiking, playing games, listening to music, singing, and entertaining his cat.
