I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people through both challenging seasons and meaningful moments of growth, offering support, understanding, and encouragement along the way. I believe that healing happens through connection, compassion, and feeling truly seen and understood. I am especially passionate about helping families strengthen connection, improve communication, and develop healthier, more supportive relationships with one another. I specialize in working with trauma and supporting adoptive and foster families as they navigate the unique challenges and opportunities that come with their experiences.
My approach is compassionate, person-centered, collaborative, and relational. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals and families can feel comfortable being honest, exploring difficult experiences, and discovering their own strengths and pathways toward healing.
I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, and I am licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor under direction and supervision from Ruby Flowers-Aime MS, NCC, LPC, CPCS (ruby@wearebackontrack.com). Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my favorite teams, and traveling.
