Jarvis is a nationally certified associate licensed therapist who was born and raised in Georgia. He earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University and is proud to serve the community alongside the team at Back on Track.
Jarvis works with clients of all ages and has experience supporting individuals with disabilities. His approach to therapy blends techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Play Therapy, and Reality Therapy. He is also experienced in helping clients manage symptoms associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Jarvis specializes in supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
Jarvis also has a special interest in Geek/Nerd Therapy, which can be incorporated into sessions at the client’s request. He enjoys integrating elements from anime, television shows, video games, technology, trading card games, and tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs). Concepts from games such as Dungeons & Dragons can be used to support therapeutic interventions, promote creativity, and help clients explore personal growth in engaging and meaningful ways.
Jarvis believes therapy should be a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. He works collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences, identify goals, and build the skills needed to move forward with confidence and purpose
