Dr. Spencer Wood
PhD., LPC, NCC, CMPC

Dr. Spencer Wood, LPC, PhD., NCC, CMPC is a dedicated, caring professional with significant experience as an author, teacher, counselor and presenter in the fields of performance psychology and clinical mental health.

His education includes a doctorate in psychology, a master’s degree in mental health counseling (CACREP), an additional master’s degree in exercise science, and two undergraduate degrees (4.0 GPA with honors).  In addition, Dr. Wood has earned a number of ‘gold standard’ certifications in the field of performance psychology (CMPC Certification), and clinical mental health - National NCC credential.

Dr. Wood is also E.M.D.R. trained - an evidenced-based gold standard intervention with practical applications for numerous clinical mental health concerns, including a number of trauma-based applications.
