Hi, I’m Ashley—a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified School Counselor. I hold degrees from Emory University, Bellarmine University, the University of Georgia, and the University of West Georgia.
I’ve spent the past 14 years working closely with children, adolescents, adults, and families—as a school counselor, special education teacher, and therapist in private practice. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in building genuine relationships where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether you're facing anxiety, low mood, challenges with focus or organization, or moving through a big life transition. You might feel stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from yourself or others. In our work together, my goal is to help you or your child navigate those challenges with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety and depression, improve executive functioning skills, and find steadiness during times of change. I tailor each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual, pulling from cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices. But more than anything, I focus on showing up with empathy and honesty—and creating a space where healing and growth feel possible.
Whether I’m working with a child, teen, or adult, I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to just be yourself—free of pressure or judgment. A place where you can learn to trust yourself, deepen your connections, and move forward at your own pace.
I’m a member of the American Counseling Association, the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of Georgia, the American School Counselor Association, and the Georgia School Counselor Association. I’m currently under the clinical supervision of Ellie Wood, MA, LPC, NCC, RPT-S, CPCS, CFMHE, CCCE (Ellie@wearebackontrack.com).
It would be an honor to support you or your child through this season and into whatever comes next—with clarity, care, and the reminder that you don’t have to do it alone.
