Mackenzie is a clinical intern pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling at Thomas University. She received her bachelor's in science for Psychology at the University of Georgia and a minor in studio art. She specializes in painting with watercolor and acrylics, charcoal and pastel drawings, and working with clay.
Her clinical interests include working with children, teens, and young adults. She is passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
Mackenzie's approach to therapy stems from the belief that every individual is a unique work of art, each with their own story, struggles, and way of engaging with the world. By incorporating playful and cooperative elements of art and play into her therapy, she creates a creative and distinctive process that fosters self-understanding, personal growth, and meaningful connections.
When not in the office, you can find Mackenzie enjoying a book at home with her cat Loki. She also loves creating art and spending time with her friends and family.
